Local residents and prospective candidates should keep these crucial dates in mind:
- August 21, 2026 (2:00 p.m.): This is the absolute deadline for candidates to file, change, or withdraw a nomination.
- October 19 – 26, 2026: The early voting window opens. Internet voting will be active, and local Voter Assistance Centres will open to help electors cast their digital ballots.
- October 26, 2026: Election Day. Eligible voters can cast their ballots using either internet voting or traditional paper methods.
